Class Info
Can I try a class before enrolling?
Yes! We offer “no obligation” trial classes for all classes except those labeled Groupon. If you like the class, the trial fee will be applied to your first month's tuition.
What class should my student begin with?
We recommend starting with one of our Air Essentials Beginner classes. In this class, students will learn skills and develop strength on four apparatuses (aerial hoop, sling, silks, and trapeze).
How do I register for a class?
You will need to create an account with our registration system. This is where you will accept studio policies and sign the waiver form. From there, you can request enrollment in the class of choice.
Are makeup classes available?
Yes, makeup classes are available based on class availability. Make-up classes must be completed within the same session as the missed class(es).
How do I schedule a make-up class?
Log into the Parent Portal and request the make-up class on the date/time of choice or you can email us at frontdesk@theapollocenter.com.
*Please allow at least 24 hrs for your make-up class requests to be processed.
What if there is inclement weather?
We will email all families about any class cancellations. There are no refunds for classes cancelled due to inclement weather, but you may schedule a makeup with the front desk staff.
What are the drop-in policies?
Drop-ins are allowed for professional dancers and experienced aerialists in Intermediate+ classes.
What are the class guidelines?
Only students are allowed in the studio space during class.
Parents and siblings must remain in the viewing room or lobby.
Personal hygiene is essential due to the close-contact nature of aerial arts.
No flash photography during classes; non-flash photos and videos are permitted.
What should my student wear to class?
We recommend wearing a leotard underneath capri length pants and a form-fitting shirt. When students go upside down, we do not want their shirt covering their face. The leotard helps to protect their skin as aerial frequently can be pinchy and the more layers the more comfortable they are.
Male students can wear long athletic shorts, sweatpants, or athletic pants. We recommend biker shorts or under armor underneath any shorts, as the majority of our work is upside down.
Make sure all clothes are free of any metal attachments (zippers, buckles, clasps etc.)
No shorts or jeans are permitted.
No acrylic nails are allowed as these easily tear the fabrics.
No jewelry, watches, or fitness watches are permitted.
No lotion is permitted on student's hands & body (this makes the silks slippery & unsafe)
Hair must be up in a ponytail or other hairstyle to be out of the student's face
Bring a Water Bottle (with student's name on it)
Bring extra layers of clothes for aerial protection like a long sleeve shirt, jacket, and socks in a dance bag in case they need it. (Some parts of aerial technique are more comfortable and enjoyable for students when they have extra protection on their skin)
Trampoline & Aerial Wall students will need closed-toed/athletic shoes with traction on the soles of the shoes.
What is expected for arrival and pickup?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class.
Inform the staff if you will be late for pickup.
Students must wait inside the building for pickup.
Can siblings accompany students?
Siblings are welcome to watch class from our viewing room or TVs, but must be supervised at all times while in the studio.
How does my student move up levels?
We do class evaluations at the end of each session (except for summer session) and families will be notified of class recommendations. If your student would like to be evaluated before the end of the session, please email us frontdesk@theapollocenter.com.
Billing & Enrollment
How does enrollment work?
Our enrollments are continuous from one session to the next. This means your student will be automatically enrolled from one session to the next until you complete a drop form on our website or email us at frontdaesk@theapollocenter.com.
What is the drop policy?
A 30-day written notice is required to drop a class. You can use our drop form or email us at frontdesk@theapollocenter.com.
Unused tuition within the 30 days will remain as a credit for future use.
How does billing work?
All students enrolled in classes are signed up with our autopay system (except for Groupon students). When enrolling in your class, you will be prompted to enter a credit card on file that you would like to use for tuition. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged on the 1st of the month until you tell us you would like to drop. Drop requests require a 30 day written notice, via email or our drop notice on our website.
When is tuition billed?
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month based on the number of class days scheduled that month, factoring in holidays and studio closures.
*Please note that most months will have 4 class days, but occasionally there are months with 5 class days and tuition will be adjusted accordingly.
What is the cost for classes?
All of our classes are billed monthly.
1-Hour Class: $105 per month ($26.25 per class)

There is a $48 single membership fee/$84 family fee, which is an annual fee that will be charged your first month.
*This fee does not apply to special programs like camps, birthday parties, or classes labeled Groupon.
What is the late fee policy?
A $20 late fee is applied if tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month.
Open Training
Who can attend Open Training?
Open Training is for enrolled students aged 12+ ($25/session) and experienced aerialists ($30/session). Sessions are 2 hours and require advance registration.
*Please register at least 24 hours in advance in order for your request to be approved.
When is Open Training offered?
Open training will be offered on select Saturdays and will be scheduled in our registration system. You must register in advance to attend our open training sessions.
What are the rules for Open Training?
Open training is a time to work out on your own, practice moves you can safely demonstrate, develop choreography, or for stretching and flexibility.
Open training is not a time to learn new moves that you have not been safely taught in a classroom environment.
An Apollo Center supervisor will be present during open training hours to help with rigging and simple questions about a move. The supervisor is not there to provide new instruction.
All participants must have a mat underneath their apparatus they are working on at all times.
The aerial running wall and trampoline are not open to students during open training.
Students are welcome to bring in their own apparatus to work on, but it must be inspected by the Apollo supervisor to ensure it is in good condition to hang.
No parents or younger siblings are allowed on the floor or equipment during open training time.
